New Jersey Track Star Nia Ali's Son Steals the Show in Rio

New Jersey's Nia Ali won the Olympic 100m hurdles silver medal, but everyone is talking about her son, Titus Maximus.

Wearing a bright red “Team USA” shirt, Titus took a victory lap with his mother, posed for photos and even participated in television interviews.

Titus was born on May 8, 2015, just 15 months before the Rio Olympics. His father is 2012 Olympic 400m hurdles silver medalist Michael Tinsley.

In addition to Ali’s silver medal, Brianna Rollins won the gold medal and Kristi Castlin earned the bronze medal in the event. It was the first medals sweep for American track and field women.

Ali grew up in Philadelphia, but now lives in Pleasantville.
