Ochocinco Buys Dinner for 64 Strangers

Receiver tweets invite to Indy steakhouse

Cincinnati Bengals and reality TV star Chad Ochocinco might have the hometown fans cheering for him when his team travels to Indianapolis to take on the Colts in November.

The man who famously changed his last name from Johnson to pay tribute to his uniform number sent a Twitter invite to the first 64 respondents to show up at St. Elmo's Steakhouse in Indianapolis. Dinner was on him. The number was picked because well, that's how many people St. Elmo's holds.

Ochocinco has promised additional dinner outings at road games, particularly in Atlanta on October 24 and New York on Thanksgiving. But competition will be fierce: The wide receiver has more than 1.2 million followers.

Ochocinco, 32, has played his entire career with the Bengals. Earlier this year, he competed on ABC's "Dancing with The Stars," making it to the final four. He was also featured on his own reality television dating show on VH1 called "Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch."

Yesterday, Ochocinco fired off another tweet, promising that if he finds the end zone in the team's Sept. 12 opener, he will celebrate in a way that will not endear him to the New England crowd.

"If i am able to score week 1 in New England i will be taking the minute men rifle and firing as they do when the PATS score," Ochocinco tweeted Tuesday night.
