No Mac Attack or B-West Sunday

Maclin, Westbrook to miss game with 49ers

The Birds will have to fly without injured running back Brian Westbrook and rookie wide receiver Jeremy Maclin against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

It will be the fifth-straight week that B-West has sat out after suffering his second concussion of the season. He practiced on the scout team this week, but the two-time Pro
Bowler wasn’t medically cleared to play in a game. He will undergo another test next week.

Maclin left Sunday's win over the Giants with a torn plantar fascia, tissue at the bottom of his left foot.

Reggie Brown will start for Maclin and veteran Kevin Curtis also will be available after returning from a knee injury that cost him most of the season.

Maclin might return for the Dec. 27 matchup with Denver, said Head Coach Andy Reid

Tight end Brent Celek was listed as questionable for Sunday but expected to play despite back spasms and a sprained thumb, said Reid.
