With four All-Star pitchers at his disposal, Dubee joked last week that he would pull the four names out of a hat, according to the Inquirer.

Doc would seemingly have competition for the top of the rotation with fellow aces Cliff Lee, Cole Hamels and Roy Oswalt in the fold but it's hard to argue against the defending National League Cy Young Award winner as the No. 1 starter.

To get in shape, Halladay is scheduled to make his spring training debut against his former team, the Blue Jays.

The other leading men, Lee, Oswalt, Hamels and fifth-starter Joe Blanton seemingly will take the mound in that order with Hamels starting off Grapefruit League play against the Yankees Saturday.

At the starting rotation press conference last week, Halladay said a World Series Championship is already on his mind.

“I want to be a part of a World Championship team," he said. "That is the biggest thing for me, and, yeah, it would be tough if we got close and didn’t win it.”

The No. 2 starter, who also has a Cy Young on his mantle, is focused on winning it all.

“We’re not going to lose sight of that," Lee said. "That is definitely the ultimate prize, and that’s what we’re hungry for and that’s what we want."
