Flyers Take On Panthers Tonight

Flyers: The Other Philly Team Plays Tonight

We know you’ll probably be busy watching the Phillies try to take Game 2 of the NLCS from Manny Ramirez and the L.A. Dodgers, but you can always flip back and forth between the Flyers game tonight on CSN.

The Flyers (3-1-1) will play their first game in five days tonight when they take on the Florida Panthers (1-4) at 7:30 p.m.

The Fly-guys hope their rest won’t turn into rust when they face-off against the struggling Panthers tonight in Florida.

"It was a good week to get to know each other, but it's starting to feel a little long," Danny Briere said. "I can't wait to get back to playing. The first period will be critical. Whoever can come out and set the tempo will have a huge advantage," according to the Flyers website.

The team took a fishing trip this week in Florida to do some bonding, but they’ll have their eye on bigger game tonight.

The guys in the orange sweaters need all the help they can get this year, with the New York Rangers and the Pittsburgh Penguins both off to fast starts at 6-1.

After their game against the Panthers, the Flyers will have another six days to rest before their next game on Thursday, October 22 against the Boston Bruins.

Who’s making these schedules, anyway?
