Flyers Trade for a Familiar Face

Flyers, Ducks swap 4 players

Danny Syvret is coming back to the Orange and Black.

The Flyers acquired defenseman Syvret and forward Rob Bordson from the Anaheim Ducks for forwards Patrick Maroon and David Laliberte.

The Flyers announced the deal Sunday, saying that Bordson and Syvret will report to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Adirondack Phantoms.

Syvret returns to the Flyers organization, where he played for the past two seasons. The 25-year-old signed as a free agent with Anaheim in the off-season and has appeared in six games for the Ducks this year with two points.

He played in 21 games for the Flyers last season, scoring two goals with four points.
