Will Vick Stay or Will He Go?

What does the future hold for controversial Eagles QB?

Embattled Eagles backup quarterback Michael Vick isn’t going anywhere.

Well, at least that’s what sources told FoxSports.com’s Adam Caplan.

“Sources said the Eagles have invested a lot of time in Vick, and they’re inclined to see him finish out this season, the final year of his two-year contract,” Caplan said.

The only way the Birds would get rid of Vick would be if the QB lied about what went down in the early morning hours of June 25 when a shooting happened near Vick’s birthday party in Virginia Beach.

The AP reported that Quanis Phillips, a co-defendant in the dog fighting case that landed Vick in federal prison, was the shooting victim.

No one was charged yet in connection with the shooting and Vick was not the shooter, according to authorities.

Caplan’s sources contradict some other reports including a Yahoo Sports! report that the Birds were “absolutely” weighing cutting Vick.

What do you think the Birds should do with their nearly $4 million backup to Kevin Kolb?
