Carter Looks Ready to Play Game 3

The Flyers might be without defensive leader Chris Pronger Wednesday night against the Bruins but they appear to be getting an offensive boost.

Forward Jeff Carter appears set to play Game 3, reports NBC Philadelphia’s John Clark.

“Carter was on first bus over to arena in Boston. That's a good sign that he will try to play tonight,” Clark tweeted.

Clark later tweeted that Carter is “playing.”

Carter, the Flyers leading scorer during the season with 36 goals, hasn’t played since he left Game 4 against Buffalo with a right knee injury.

Two weeks after his knee-to-knee collision Carter participated in the morning skate with the Orange and Black and was on the first bus to the arena, Clark reports.

The Flyers could use a little more offense. They’ve been outscored 10-5 through the first two games against Boston and trail the series 0-2 entering Game 3 in Boston.
