Boozer Commits to Bulls

$80 million, five-year contract

Free agent Carlos Boozer has verbally committed to the Chicago Bulls for a five-year, $80 million contract, according to the team.

The Bulls still have salary cap room to sign LeBron James, should he commit. LeBron is scheduled to commit Thursday night during a one-hour televised special.

Boozer's commitment comes on a day when Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade committed to the Miami Heat. Boozer was widely considered the best option for the Bulls given Bosh's and Wade's choices. Boozer, a power forward, will potentially pair well with Derrick Rose.
