Breanna Stewart is the latest installment of women’s basketball royalty to come from the University of Connecticut. While playing for Team USA coach Geno Auriemma at UConn, Stewart won four consecutive NCAA titles, helping her team to a 151-5 record during her career. The New York native was named the NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player four times and was a three-time consensus national player of the year. A well-rounded forward, she averaged 17.6 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.6 blocks while in college. Stewart is looking to become the only player in basketball history to follow up four straight NCAA championships with an Olympic gold medal.
