Reviving the Philadelphia Soul

Arena football is back in Philly and Tuesday's the big day, where a "major announcement" is being made at 2 p.m. at Chickie's and Pete's. Owner Pete Ciarrocchi bought into the Philadelphia Soul franchise after Jon Bon Jovi pulled out.

The Soul is returning with four owners -- Ciarrocchi,  former Eagles QB Ron Jaworski, businessman Craig Spencer, Cosmo DeNicola. DeNicola is the former owner of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers, a minor league or AF2 team.

Arena Football fizzled after the Soul won the league championship in 2008. The AFL's reincarnation and this year's comeback for the Philadelphia team is part of the league's expansion from 15 to 19 teams.

Along with the Soul's revival, Pittsburgh, San Jose and Kansas City will also bring teams back to the league. In 2011, the number of games grows from 16 to 18.
