Aramark Brings Self-Service Kiosks to Phillies' Citizens Bank Park

Aramark has made paying for food and beverages faster and more efficient at Major League Baseball stadiums, so fans don't have to wait in long lines or miss a big chunk of the game.

Philadelphia-based Aramark added self-service checkout kiosks to all MLB stadiums, including Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.

When users are ready to check out, they place their items — which may not have barcodes — on the kiosk unit, which scans multiple items at once for a faster payment process.

The kiosks, a partnership with Palo Alto, Calif.-based technology company Mashgin, are part of a new Walk Thru Bru grab-and-go beverage market concept for Aramark.

They've resulted in a 40% faster transaction and up to a 25% spike in sales, according to Aramark.
