The Philadelphia 76ers announced on Wednesday they have completed a three-team trade with the Golden State Warriors and New Orleans Hornets. Through the trade, the Sixers obtained Dorell Wright from Golden State and center Darryl Watkins from New Orleans.

The Hornets will receive the 76ers' draft rights to Edin Bavcic of Bosnia and Herzegovina in a salary-slashing move.

"We're very happy to get a player like Dorell Wright," said Sixers President of Basketball Operations Rod Thorn. "We think his outside shooting and all-around game will be a great addition to our team and we look forward to having him in Philadelphia."

After playing his first six seasons with Miami, and winning a championship with the Heat in 2006, Wright signed as a free agent with Golden State on July 12, 2010. Over the past two seasons, he averaged 13.8 points per game with the Warriors.
