A group of Pennsylvania voters is opposing a challenge to the state's voter ID law, saying their rights as voters would be violated if the law intended to combat fraud isn't in place by the November election.
Ten voters sought an injunction against the law two weeks ago, saying they can't get the mandated identification. Three of the plaintiffs say they can't get IDs because they were born in the south and their birth states have no record of them being born.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports the opposing voters said in their petition last week their rights would be infringed in the event of voter fraud.
One of the groups challenging the ID law, the Public Interest Law Center of Philadelphia, says it will respond Tuesday.
