A new poll finds a dip in how New Jerseyans perceive their quality of life.
The Monmouth University poll out Monday finds 6 in 10 respondents say Jersey is a good or excellent place to live. But that's down by 7 points from February and off by 11 from a decade-high 72 percent recorded after Superstorm Sandy.
About a third of those polled rate life in the Garden State fair or poor.
The poll also finds hometown pride fell to its lowest score in 30 years.
The telephone poll of 806 adults was taken April 11-14 and has an error margin of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
In other recent Garden State polling, there was also a dip in approval for Gov. Chris Christie. The Monmouth University/Asbury Park Press poll found that while Christie lost some favor he still remained popular with 59 percent of voters.
