NBC10 @ISSUE: Special Edition with Karen Brown

The Republican candidate for Philadelphia Mayor will answer your questions.

Here’s your chance to hear from Republican Karen Brown about the views and issues shaping her campaign for Philadelphia Mayor. She will appear on a Special Edition of NBC10 @ Issue on Tuesday, October 18.

NBC10’s Steve Highsmith is the host of NBC10 @Issue. The program will air on NBC10 from 7 to 7:30 p.m. and on NBC Philadelphia Nonstop for an entire hour from 7-8 p.m.

Karen Brown is challenging Mayor Michael Nutter, the Democratic incumbent in the November 8 General Election.

Brown won a close two-way Republican primary in May, defeating opponent John Featherman by fewer than 70 votes.

Brown is a former school teacher. She has been a principle force behind several community organizations, including the Brotherhood, a non-profit organization focused on the solidarity of unions within the city of Philadelphia and the Southwark Civic Association, working with the young and the elderly in her neighborhood.

She is calling for broad government reforms and a focus on basic city services, including public safety and health and sanitation.
