A New Jersey town administrator has been arrested on cocaine possession charges.
Asbury Park police tell the Asbury Park Press that Manchester Township administrator Elene Zsoldos was arrested Monday afternoon.
No one answered the phone early Wednesday at the home of the 44-year Berkeley Township resident.
Manchester Township Attorney Steven Secare says the mayor and town council have been informed of her arrest. But he would not say whether Zsoldos has been suspended, saying it is a confidential personnel issue.
“…He (the mayor) pledged to cooperate with whatever law enforcement authorities may need from the township,” Secare said.
