“Runway” Villainess Charged in Feline Felony

Cat's condition is unclear

Former “Project Runway” designer Kenley Collins is facing assault charges for a vicious attack on her ex-fiancé in which she allegedly used a cat as a weapon.

Collins, 26, was arrested in her Brooklyn home early Tuesday after assaulting her sleeping fiance, Zak Penley, with a laptop computer, apples, water and the cat.

"It was a miscommunication," Collins told The New York Post after getting released without bail from Brooklyn Supreme Court Tuesday.

"Fights happen, and that's that. There is no case."

However, law enforcement sources say an enraged Collins woke Penley up just after 7 a.m. by hurling their cat in his face. Then she threw her laptop, and as he fell and crawled on the floor, slammed a door on his head, The Post reported.

It’s unclear what started the fight, but the third place loser from "Project Runway"’s fifth season apparently told her ex the attack “could’ve been a lot worse,” according to court papers.

Kenley was arrested and charged with six crimes -- including 2nd degree assault, 3rd degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon in the 4th degree.  It is unclear if she will be brought up on animal cruelty charges.

A neighbor told The Post there have been "a lot of noise problems" since Collins moved into the Brooklyn pad.
