Supreme Court Says Obama Isn't British

Court rejects case questioning his nationality

Breathe easy, America. The Supreme Court has decided once and for all that President-elect Barack Obama is not British.

The highest court in the land has rejected an emergency appeal from New Jersey wingnut Leo Donofrio, who argued that Obama cannot possibly be a "natural born citizen," as required by the Constitution for eligibility to be commander in chief.

Donofrio claimed that because Obama's mother was American and that his father was a British subject, he had dual nationality at the time of his birth, and didn't meet the "natural born" requirement.

Donofrio's suit also called into question the eligibility of John McCain, who was born in the Panama Canal Zone.

But Obama's legitimacy remains in doubt as the Court still has to consider the appeal of Pennsylvanian Philip J. Berg, who insists that he was born in Kenya or possibly Indonesia.

Of course all these nonsense suits beg the question, why do you have to be born in the U.S. to be president?
