Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick have released the first photo of their newborn twin daughters.

The photo was released on Monday evening.

The picture, taken by Robin Layton, shows Sarah Jessica, Matthew, son James Wilkie and twins Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge.

The twins were born to the couple via a surrogate last week.

This is not the first time Sarah Jessica and Matthew have quashed the fever for the first photo of their new family editions. When James was born in 2002, Sarah Jessica and Matthew posed outside of the hospital their son was born in for dozens of photographers.

"Thanks for caring," she said at the time, cradling then-baby James. "It must be a slow news week."
