Pennsylvania Man With 88 License Suspensions Arrested in New York: Police

Police say a Pennsylvania motorist whose license has been suspended more than 80 times was arrested after being stopped for speeding in New York.

Police on Long Island say Eric Dunbar had a valid Pennsylvania license after highway patrol pulled over the 43-year-old's late-model Dodge Sunday afternoon.

But they say the Tafton, Pennsylvania resident also had a New York state driver's license that had been suspended 88 times for ignoring traffic tickets.

Dunbar was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He was issued summonses for speeding and keeping more than one license. His car was impounded.

Dunbar was in custody Sunday and didn't return a message. He was to be arraigned Monday. It wasn't clear if he had an attorney who could comment on the charges.
