NJ Woman, Bruce Springsteen Deny Affair

The mom accused of having an affair with rocker Bruce Springsteen insists she's not his Jersey Girl.

Ann Kelly, 44, denied the allegations through her lawyer, Noel Tonneman, who said: "All she wants everyone to know is that she's denying all of this," the New York Daily News reported Friday.

The Star Ledger reported on Thursday that Kelly's husband of 17 years, businessman Arthur J. Kelly,  filed divorce papers that had named the Boss as the "other man" responsible for the break up of the marriage.

Kelly accused his wife Ann -- the mother of two teenage daughters -- and married E-Street band singer Springsteen of  "having sex at various times and places too numerous to mention," according to the divorce papers filed in Monmouth County, N.J. court last month.

The husband is seeking joint custody and child support payments, according to the Ledger.

Ann's father told the News that she and Springsteen had struck up only a "talking relationship" after meeting at a gym.

Ann Kelly's lawyer said he still hasn't seen the divorce papers, but that he would move to seal the records off to the public.

"It's a shame their children had to find out about the divorce this way," Tonneman said.

This is not the first time that Springsteen has been accused of infidelities. His first marriage to actress Julianne Phillips was rumored to collapse after he began seeing his back-up singer and current wife Patti Scialfa.

On Thursday, Springsteen denied the latest allegations by pointing to a statement he first issued on his website in Aug. 2006 when accused of another affair.

That statement read: "I hesitate to use this website for anything personal believing it should remain a place where fans of my music can come free of the distractions that occasionally arise with the rest of my job.

"However, due to the unfounded and ugly rumors that have appeared in the papers over the last few days, I felt they shouldn't pass without comment. Patti and I have been together for 18 years -- the best 18 years of my life. We have built a beautiful family we love and want to protect and our commitment to one another remains as strong as the day we were married."
