New Information Released in Hit-Run That Left Montclair State Student in Coma

Authorities have identified the type of vehicle that struck a New Jersey college student last week, leaving the 22-year-old in a coma.

Clifton Police say that a dark pickup truck, possibly a Ford F-150, hit and critically injured Anna Semioli as she was walking along Route 46 at about midnight on Friday. The vehicle left the scene after hitting the Montclair State University student.

Semioli's family has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.

Semioli was supposed to be meeting friends on campus on Thursday night, according to friends. Her car was found parked in a campus parking lot about a mile from where she was struck.

Semioli was in a coma as of Sunday at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson, her family said. It wasn't clear if her condition had changed Wednesday.

Anyone with information about the accident is asked to contact the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office at 862-849-6019.
