Dr. Drew Falls Ill on Second Honeymoon, Tweets Diagnosis

For once, Dr. Drew is the one in need of some medical treatment.

The man who usually tries to set wayward stars back on the straight and narrow on "Celebrity Rehab" fell ill while on his second honeymoon, reports E! Online.

While he didn't reveal the exact destination, he coyly hinted that he was heading to someplace warm in a January 7 tweet: "Leaving VERY early tomorrow morning on our second honeymoon. Secret destination but bring shorts and sunglasses," he wrote.

However upon return to the U.S. on January 17, he sent another tweet, indicating that things had taken a turn for the worse.

"Spent the night as a patient in the hospital," he wrote. "Seems I may have picked up Leptospirosis in the West Indies. This is just brutal."

Leptospirosis is an infectious disease that causes jaundice, muscle pain, fever and occasionally hemorrhages in the eyes and skin.

Brutal indeed.
