For students taking out new loans, their interest rates are set to rise beginning Tuesday. The rate increase comes after a bipartisan deal brokered by Congress and signed by President Obama, NBC News reported. For every $10,000 borrowed, the average borrower will now likely pay back an additional $4 per month.
