Space Scientists Locate Lost Pyramids via Satellite

A group of Alabama-based “space archeologists” may have located 17 lost pyramids in Egypt. They also found more than 1,000 tombs and 3,000 settlements via infrared images, BBC news reports. Many of the pyramids are buried close to the surface, and scientists are optimistic about finding many more pyramids as technology advances. “Indiana Jones is old school, we’ve moved on from Indy, sorry Harrison Ford,” Dr. Sarah Parcak, who worked on the NASA-sponsored lab, told the BBC.
