Britney Spears certainly knows how to celebrate a birthday.
On December 2, her 29th birthday, Spears revealed that she's going to have a new album set to hit stores in March of next year, reports Billboard.
Spears took to Twitter to share the news.
"My fans mean the world to me & waking up to all of your wishes really made me smile, so here's something that I hope will make you smile...I'm almost done with my new album and it will be coming out this March. I AM IN L-O-V-E WITH IT!" she wrote.
The pop princess reunited with producers Max Martain and Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald for the record. Gottwald said that he "wants [the sound] to get harder in some ways, and maybe a little more deep into electronic -- grimier."
Spears even took a shot at the celebrity press, which has recently circulated a story in which Spears reported being beaten by ex-husband Jason Alexander.
"PS - Star Magazine, Radar Online, Jason Alexander and the rest of you liars, Ya'll can kiss my lily white southern Louisiana a##!" she wrote.

The new record will be the first release from Spears since 2008's Circus. That album debuted at No. 1 and spawned five top 100 singles, including "Womanizer."
