A Pennsylvania mom has been catapulted into the forefront of the breastfeeding conversation after she posted what some are calling a controversial photo on an online group.
Jessica Anne Colletti, of Bala Cynwyd, posted a photo of herself in a public group on Facebook called “Hey Facebook, breastfeeding is not obscene!”
The photo shows Colletti breastfeeding her 16-month-old son and her friend’s 18-month-old son at the same time.

In an article posted on People.com, Colletti told the magazine “people are misinformed” about breastfeeding.
Colletti posted the photo in the Facebook group as a way to mark “World Breastfeeding Week,” which was from Aug. 1 to 8.
The group where Colletti posted the photo is pro-breastfeeding with a goal of convincing Facebook to allow breastfeeding photos and not classify them as obscene.
In her original Facebook post, Colletti said she watches her friend’s son while she works and she has been breastfeeding her son and her friend's son for a year.
“So much love between these milk siblings, it's a special bond between us all,” Colletti wrote.
