Molly Shannon Joins Maya Rudolph In “Up All Night”

Will play an "incompetent associate producer"

Molly Shannon is set to join her former "Saturday Night Live" alumnus Maya Rudolph on NBC's "Up All Night."

The actress will play an "incompetent associate producer" on Maya's character Ava's talk show, according to TV Guide.

Presently, Molly's stint is just one episode, but the mag reported that the door will be open for her return.

Molly recently had her own show on NBC – the comedy "Kath & Kim" – with actress Selma Blair, which ran for one season between 2008-2009.

She also appeared alongside Cameron Diaz in "Bad Teacher," which was recently released on DVD.
