Elaborate Minn. School Bomb Plot Thwarted

A Minnesota teenager was less than two weeks away from carrying out an elaborate plot to bomb his high school, when he was arrested Tuesday, NBC News reported. Police found bombs, numerous firearms and hundreds of rounds of ammunition at the 17-year-old's home and in a rented storage locker. Official documents describe how he allegedly planned to kill his family, set fires to divert emergency crews and then kill "as many students as possible" with pressure cooker bombs during lunch hour. The teen was held at a juvenile facility after his arraignment on Thursday.
