Mel and Oksana's Breakup Gets Nasty

Legal maneuver has to do with daughter from short romance

The "still friends" phase is over between Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva, after one filed a restraining order against the other.

The 54-year-old "Braveheart" actor, who left his wife of 30 years for the piano-playing Russian hottie in 2009, got the restraining order for issues involving their daughter Lucia, People magazine reported. The pair broke up in April, but at the time of the split, a pal told the magazine, "They're still friends and they'll both raise Lucia together." But later in the day, TMZ reported it was Grigorieva who filed the papers.

The legal documents, which were filed Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court, are sealed.

Gibson, who just completed filming "How I Spent My Summer Vacation," resides in Malibu. Grigorieva, meanwhile, is still living in a Sherman Oaks, Calif., home owned by Gibson – and has been doing so since their split.

In April 2009, Robyn Moore filed for divorce from Gibson, citing irreconcilable differences. Later that same month, Gibson and Grigorieva began stepping out publicly.

In addition to Lucia, Gibson is the father of seven children – six sons and one daughter – while Grigorieva has a son, Alexander, with her former boyfriend, one-time James Bond actor Timothy Dalton.
