A 52-year-old woman allegedly disguised herself as her 19-year-old daughter in order to take an exam for her, the U.K. Guardian reported.
The test was the English portion of the Baccalauréat, the final exam that French high schools students are required to take to pursue university studies.

The mother, who was identified only as Caroline D., managed to sneak into the exam hall on Wednesday in Converse sneakers, low-rise jeans and with a lot of makeup, according to The U.K. Guardian.
But a proctor who had recently supervised a philosophy exam the 19-year-old actually took two days ago noticed the mother-in-disguise right away.
The mother admitted to having cheated, in a blatant effort to boost her daughter’s score in the English exam, according to the English version of French newspaper The Local.
Caroline D. was taken into custody and faces fraud charges. Her daughter might face the punishment of being banned from taking all official exams for a period of five years.
