Former Ravens Cheerleader Pleads Guilty to Rape

A former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader and the ex-wife of a prominent Maryland energy executive has pleaded guilty to having sex with a 15-year-old boy.

Molly Shattuck, 48, pleaded guilty Tuesday to one count of fourth-degree rape. She made the plea before a Delaware judge days before her trial was to begin.

Shattuck will have to register as a sex offender. Her sentencing is scheduled for mid-August. The felony can carry up to 15 years in jail.

Shattuck was indicted last year for rape, unlawful sexual contact and providing alcohol to minors. She originally pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Shattuck began an inappropriate relationship with the boy in Maryland and the two engaged in sexual activity at a vacation rental home in Bethany Beach, Delaware, over Labor Day weekend, authorities say.

Shattuck is the ex-wife of former Constellation Energy CEO Mayo Shattuck III.
