Black Ga. Man's Hanging Death Ruled a Suicide: Authorities

A black man found hanging dead from a tree in rural Georgia committed suicide, according to autopsy results, authorities said Tuesday. Roosevelt Champion III, whose body was discovered in rural Greensboro, had recently been questioned about a white woman's death, and Champion's death raised suspicions of foul play. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation, however, concluded in a forensic autopsy that there was no evidence of any "inflicted trauma" on Champion's body.
