Five Dead After Family Dispute “Gone Terribly Wrong”

Five adults were found dead inside a Phoenix home after a shooting Thursday in a suspected dispute about the family's business, police said. Swat officers surrounded the house after police responded to a call reporting that shots had been fired around 2 p.m. (5 p.m. ET). Witnesses at the scene said they heard the sound of muted gunshots about an hour after a standoff began, The Associated Press reported. After several hours, officers sent a tactical robot into the house where it relayed images of the five bodies. All of the victims — three men and two women — were related, police said. "We believe this is a family dispute of some sort that has gone terribly wrong," Phoenix police Sgt. Trent Crump told reporters.
