Wounded Pennsylvania Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrant

A man who went to a Pittsburgh hospital claiming he was shot during a robbery wound up being arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Theodore Gore arrived at UPMC Shadyside on Saturday with three gunshot wounds to his left leg.

He left in handcuffs after police determined he was wanted in a September 2013 Homewood burglary.

Police say they couldn't find evidence to support Gore's claims he was shot after refusing to comply with robbers while waiting for a bus.

The 26-year-old East Liberty man is being held at the Allegheny County Jail.
