Gunman Shoots, Kills Man in Woodbury, New Jersey

An investigation is underway after a man was shot and killed in Woodbury, New Jersey, Saturday night.

Woodbury City police responded to East Centre Street around 11:30 p.m. for a reported shooting. When they arrived they found a 27-year-old man suffering a gunshot wound to the head.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his death was ruled a homicide. Witnesses told investigators they saw someone fleeing the on foot after the shooting. Police have not released a description of any suspects however.
