A woman was shot in the shoulder and killed inside a second-floor bedroom of a South Philadelphia home Thursday, police said.
The shooting occurred around 5:15 p.m. on May 22, 2025, along the 2100 block of Bailey Terrace -- just off Point Breeze Avenue, Philadelphia police said.

Ajani Stinton-Downing died a short time later at the hospital, police said. She was just 22 years old.
