Aggravated arson charges have been filed against a woman accused of starting a fire at a southern New Jersey home she shared with her boyfriend.
Camden County Prosecutor Warren Faulk says 28-year-old Jonna Rutterow of Waterford used lighter fluid as an accelerant in a bedroom of the ranch-style home late Sunday night. The fire significantly damaged the inside of the home, but no injuries were reported.
Rutterow's boyfriend was found on the property, and he believed that Rutterow may have been inside the home. Authorities began searching for her, and five hours later she walked out of woods near the property, where she allegedly had been hiding.
Neighbors told authorities that the couple had a domestic dispute earlier Sunday, but police were not called to the home at that time.
