Woman, Cats Killed After Car Slams Into Home

The accident happened Sunday night in Chester County.

Police are investigating the cause of a crash that claimed the life of a woman along with two cats in Chester County.

It happened Sunday around 10:30 p.m. in East Goshen.

The victim, a 64-year-old woman from Willistown Township, was driving a Mazda Miata MX5 convertible westbound on East Boot Road and crossed over Route 352, according to the Daily Local. Police say the woman lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a stone wall connected to a house. The woman and two cats she was transporting were killed in the crash.

No one appears to have been home during the accident, according to the Daily Local. No word yet on what caused the crash or the woman's identity.
