A Philadelphia woman was sexually assaulted in her own home Tuesday.
A man approached a 51-year-old woman while she walked her trash out to the curb early Tuesday morning and forced her back inside her home where he assaulted her, according to police.
Investigators say the physical and sexual assault occurred along the 700 block of S. 51st St. in the city's Cedar Park neighborhood just before 5 a.m.
Police describe the suspect, who was wearing a grey hooded sweat suit, white hat and white sneakers during the attack, as a black male with a dark complexion standing approximately 5-feet 10-inches tall.
