A special firefighting crew was called to a house fire in Delaware Monday morning over concerns of possible ammunition inside the home.
The fire started about 6:15 a.m. inside a home on Weldin Park Drive in Wilmington.
When firefighters arrived to the scene, they encountered heavy smoke and flames billowing from the single family home.
There were concerns about possible ammunition inside the home. As a result, a special firefighting team was called to the scene.
It was not immediately known how much or what kind of ammunition was inside the home.
There were no immediate reports of any injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
