Police are searching for a man accused of robbing three Delaware banks in a four-day span.
Michael Wheeler, 39, of Wilmington, Delaware, allegedly robbed the Wells Fargo Bank on Philadelphia Pike in Wilmington and the M&T Bank on East Main Street in Middletown on Monday. He also robbed the WSFS Bank on Irish Hill Road in Felton on Friday, police said.
During at least two of the robberies, Wheeler approached a teller and displayed a note demanding cash, police said. During the robbery in Felton, Wheeler gestured toward his waistband, implying that he had a weapon, according to investigators.
