Cool Temps in This Week’s Forecast

We're in for some beautiful spring weather this week, but it will feel more like the beginning of April, than May, as temperatures will stay well below normal.

Monday morning, many neighborhoods in Pennsylvania and New Jersy saw temperatures drop into the 30s. In the Pocono Mountains, it was cold enough for rain and snow showers just before 8 a.m.

The showers died out, so for the rest of Monday expect to see sunshine and passing clouds.

Cool northwesterly winds to keep it a bit chilly all day long.

The winds will die down overnight, allowing for another cold morning Tuesday with a chance of frost forming in the Pennsylvania suburbs and South Jersey.

The rest of the week will likely be frost free as it starts to warm a bit. However, it will be cooler than normal for the rest of the week and into next week. The average high temperature for is 71 degrees. This week, highs will be in the 60s.

The next chance of rain won't come until the end of the work week. Rain showers are most likely this coming weekend (including Mother's Day) as a low-pressure center that develops to the south and then moves up the Eastern Seaboard.
