Armed, Masked Men Hold Up Delaware Wawa

Two armed men held up a trio of employees inside a Delaware Wawa store over the weekend.

The masked men demanded cash from employees inside the convenience store along E Chestnut Hill Road in Newark around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

The employees handed over an undisclosed amount of cash before the armed suspects fled, said Delaware State Police.

Police described one gunman as wearing a dark hoodie, and standing between 5-foot, 10-inches to 6-foot tall and weighing around 150 to 170 pounds. The second suspect wore a dark hoodie and pants, and stands between 5-foot, 10-inches to 5-foot, 11-inches tall and weighing around 150 to 170 pounds.

Investigators asked anyone with information to contact state police Troops 2, Glasgow, at 302-834-2630.
