Victims Found Tied Up During Northeast Break-In

Police say the victims were sleeping when robbery suspects entered the Northeast home.

Police are searching for the suspects who broke into a home in Northeast Philadelphia just before midnight on Tuesday.

According to police, three victims were found tied up in their Knorr Street home. One of the victims had been pistol-whipped.

Investigators say that the armed suspects followed the victims home from work and waiting for them to go to sleep. Once in the house, they demanded that a safe be opened and stole the contents – including an undisclosed amount of cash -- before tying them up.

Police believe that two to three people committed the crime. A description is not available at this time, although one of the suspects may have dropped a black ski mask at the scene.
