Journalists who cover events at the Vatican have to all get credentials from the Sala Stampa or the press office. It's located right outside Saint Peter's Square.

Inside the press office is this working space for journalists. The gray offices along the side house reporters for media outlets that staff here on a regular basis like the Catholic News Service and the Associated Press. There are plug-ins, Internet access, laptop computers and open space to work under deadline.

Directly next door is the news conference room. This is where Tuesday, Philadelphia Archbishop Chaput and Archbishop Paglia with the Vatican's Pontifical Council for Families will hold a press conference after the Philly delegation makes its presentation to Council for Families which oversees planning for the 2015 World Meeting of Families in Philly. That's at 11:30 a.m. Rome time so 6:30 a.m. Philly time.
