Vandals Smash Windows of 29 Parked Cars in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh police have been trying to find whoever broke the windows out of 29 parked vehicles on the city's North Side.

The vandalism was discovered Sunday morning by the owners of the vehicles in the city's Brighton Heights and Spring Garden neighborhoods.

Police were attempting to determine Monday whether any of the residents have security or surveillance systems that might offer clues to the vandals' identities.

Police say nothing was stolen from the vehicles and the windows do not appear to have been broken to gain entry into any of the vehicles.

Some residents reported that it appeared rocks were thrown through the windows, while others indicated a BB gun may have been used on their vehicles.
