Police in suburban Philadelphia are searching for a female inmate who escaped custody.
Authorities say 26-year-old Carolyn Quiah escaped from constable custody during a hearing at Secane District Court in Upper Darby, Delaware County, Thursday afternoon. Quiah was charged Wednesday with assault.
Police say Quiah tried to steal a car from an 82-year-old man before fleeing on foot. Authorities say residents should keep their cars and homes locked. Upper Darby Police believe Quiah may be "completely naked" and is in the Primos and Secane area.
Anyone with information about Quiah's whereabouts is asked to call 911.
