Portable Meth Lab Bust in Delaware

Two people are facing charges after state police say they found a portable meth lab while executing an arrest warrant.

Delaware State Police spokesman Sgt. Richard Bratz tells local media that Sunday morning, police were attempting to arrest 37-year-old James D. Murphy on felony theft charges at a home near Camden. When police arrived at the home, they arrested Murphy and 30-year-old Brittney Ebright.

Bratz says that inside the home, police found equipment and ingredients used to make methamphetamine.

Murphy and Ebright are charged with operating a clandestine lab, second-degree conspiracy and possession of drug paraphernalia. Murphy also faces charges of possession of heroin and resisting arrest, as well as the previous charges of theft, criminal trespass and criminal mischief.

It's unclear if Murphy or Ebright have attorneys.
